Girls on the Run (GOTR) is a youth development after school program for girls in 3rd-8th grade.
The program is dedicated to inspiring girls to be joyful, healthy and confident while creatively integrating running or movement. Each season concludes with a celebratory 5K run!
The Candy Cane Dash is a family friendly event for all ages and abilities. Run, walk or roll your way. Due to city regulations we ask you leave your furry friends at home.
The event is held every first Saturday of December for the past 11 years at Baker Park Frederick in Frederick County MD.
The event is open to the community-all elves welcome! Overall awards for the top 3 male & female finishers plus 10-year age group awards for community runners will be announced!
*Costumes and holiday gear highly encouraged!*
